Children's Ministries

Children's Ministry

At Millwood Church the joyful sounds of children are music to our ears! As our children's ministry continues to grow and bloom we strive to create a loving atmosphere of love, patience, and understanding! On Sunday mornings the children all start out in the main worship area to sing and participate during part of our worship time. Then, after a brief children's message they adjourn to Children's Church. Our Children's Church provides Bible lessons, music, crafts and more!

Children's Music

Our children's choir and music program is directed by Michelle Arivett. We want to instill a sense of wonder as our children sing and make music. The gift of music is very precious and our vision is to teach fundamental music skills such as pitch recognition, melody, rhythm, and harmony. Future plans include instruction on recorders with sight reading basics provided.

After School Care

Millwood After School Care opened in 2004 and has been enjoying steady growth. Our buses pick up children from Rogers Elementary Public Schools right after school and transports them to our facility. Once your child arrives we provide them with snacks, supervised homework, crafts and outdoor play in a safe yet fun atmosphere.
